Shriners Children’s opens new orthopedic clinic in Culiacán, Sinaloa

As part of its vision of caring for more children in more places, more conveniently and closer to home, Shriners Children’s Mexico has partnered with Hospital Ángeles to open a new clinic in Culiacán, Sinaloa, in northwestern Mexico. To mark the milestone, a ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on Dec. 21 at the Hospital Ángeles facilities.

Mariano González, M.D., General Administrator of Shriners Children’s Mexico, emphasized the significance of broadening the organization’s reach.

“Extending our noble mission to Culiacán signifies a positive impact on the lives of families in the northwest region of our country who are in need of support for medical treatments for their pediatric patients,” he said.

With the opening of this clinic in Culiacán, the Shriners Children’s system aims to serve more children in the northwest region of the country who would otherwise have had to travel to Mexico City.

This expansion reflects Shriners Children’s ongoing commitment to making specialized medical care accessible to communities in need and allows Shriners Children’s to continue pursuing its mission of providing the most amazing care anywhere. In addition to the new Culiacán location and the hospital in Mexico City, Shriners Children’s has clinics in Tijuana and Monterrey.

The Culiacán clinic is open from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, by appointment only and without emergency services. To schedule an appointment, contact the social work department at phone number 56-51-01-51-95 or send an email to [email protected].
